The office of the Ministry of Transportation has been identified as the cluster with the highest COVID-19 caseload in Jakarta with 319 confirmed cases, with the offices of the Health Ministry and Defense Ministry following closely behind, according to the latest official data from the provincial government.
The data, reported in Jakarta’s official COVID-19 website, shows the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases recorded from June 4 to Sept. 30 in different clusters throughout the capital.
The Ministry of Health — which was, ironically enough, previously identified as an office cluster with the highest caseload — is placed second with 262 cases, followed by the Ministry of Defense with 147 cases.
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)’s office placed fourth with 116 confirmed cases, while the Drug and Food Monitoring Agency (BPOM) reported 89 cases.
According to a Governor Regulation issued this year, a company or an office must be closed for at least 72 hours for the facility to be thoroughly disinfected if an employee is found to have contracted COVID-19.
